Most/Least Expensive States Based on Monthly Costs

house In figuring out the cost of living in each state, this survey took into account housing costs, utilities, insurance, and more. Not surprisingly, Hawaii was the most expensive. West Virginia was the cheapest -- 25% below the national average.

Amazon Denies Refund After Consumer's Proper Return

Amazon now wants shoppers to return goods unpackaged and to the closest local dropoff location (or they may charge you a fee). That's exactly what this consumer did when she returned two items to a Staples dropoff location. Trouble is, Amazon only got one of the items back... and denied her a refund for the missing item... until WCVB-TV consumer reporter Ben Simmoneau got involved.
