The National Insurance Crime Bureau says that the full size Ford pick-up is the most stolen vehicle in the United States. Honda Civic and Accord are also very high on the list. See the top 10 list, and also which are the top cars stolen in each state.
If you live in a region of the country with cold winters, you better be prepared for a much higher bill to heat your home. Natural gas is expected to rise by 30%, heating oil by 54%, propane by 40%, and electricity by 6%.

CR's investigation found that interest rates charged can be stratospheric -- in some cases APRs can be over 25 percent. But their analysis also reveals that consumers who are financially similar and have comparable credit scores can be charged wildly divergent interest rates. Even people with high credit scores can be charged exorbitantly. Here's their report.
