Mexican Consumer Gets Bargain of a Lifetime

Almost as good as winning the lottery... A Mexican consumer saw Cartier diamond earrings on their website for the equivalent of $28 for two pairs. So he bought them. Later Cartier said it was a pricing mistake and they should have been $28,000. Mexican law sided with the consumer because it requires merchants to sell goods at the price they advertise.
