J.D. Power questioned over 67,000 owners of 2019-2021 vehicles to find out how satisfied they were having their car serviced at the dealership. They were asked to rate the service quality, how good the service advisor was, and any amenities offered. For luxury cars, Lexus dealerships scored the highest. For mass market cars, Mini and Buick topped that list. See how the other brands ranked. Obviously, service at individual dealerships can vary.
A Maryland consumer took her car to a Jiffy Lube for an oil change, and says she wound up with engine trouble because of a cracked oil pan. Now she needs a new engine. Jiffy Lube says not so fast because of the fine print on the back of her receipt.
