Last week, part of our Bargain of the Week was a free $99 one-year non-self-renewing membership to TripAdvisor Plus. But, only after the deal went live did the company reveal in fine print that they would automatically charge members $99 or more next year. So we and others yelled and screamed about the discrepancy.

Why We Can't Usually Tell When a Written Review Is Fake
Half of consumers say they trust published reviews as much as ones from friends and family. It turns out that many people distrust positive reviews and are more likely to believe negative ones. And your personality plays a role in how good or bad you are in distinguishing real reviews from fake ones.
If you purchased whole or cut-up chicken, chicken breasts, or certain other cuts between 2012 and July 2019, you may be entitled to your share of a $181-million settlement. Watch a Walmart Delivery Via Drone
Jeff Rossen, Hearst TV's national consumer reporter, is testing out Walmart's new service that will deliver packages up to twenty pounds via drone the same day. Watch it leave Walmart and then deposit its package hovering over Jeff's front yard!

March 14 is "Pi Day" -- you know, 3.14159 from geometry class. To celebrate, eateries around the country offer various deals on pizza or dessert pies.
