Banks' Dirty Little Secret Is Costing You Big Bucks

bank If you were attracted by "high" bank deposit interest rates around 3-percent on a high-yield savings account starting a couple of years ago, don't assume they have raised YOUR rate when those accounts went up to four- and five-percent. Dates on the check are not current and the amounts do not match any refund that you are currently owed. Do NOT try to cash them.
