Home Title Lock Claims & Tactics Questioned
A major ABC News investigation looks at claims by Home Title Lock, a company which has been widely advertising that its service will offer you protection from having the ownership of your house transferred without your knowledge. The company allegedly uses scare tactics to get people to sign up, and quotes FBI statistics about the growing nature of this crime. The FBI says it has no such statistics.
