If you had a postpaid Verizon Wireless cell or data plan since 2016, you may be entitled to up to $100 in a proposed class action settlement. The company was accused of tacking on junk fees to customers' bills which were not properly disclosed. That is our Mouse Print* story this week.
The WSJ offers some tips on how to save on prescription drugs. Sometimes not using your regular insurance company's drug benefit can be cheaper than using it. Tips are for both non-Medicare and Medicare recipients.
Consumer Reports tested 85 common grocery and food products and found that almost every one had some chemical plasticizers (phthalates), often at high levels. See their list of offending products including certain varieties of Coke, SlimFast, Yoplait yogurt, Wendy's chicken nuggets, Whopper with cheese, Cheerios, Chicken of the Sea salmon, Del Monte sliced peaches, and many more.
