The TV commercial made it sound like such a great deal. You pay only $25 a line for unlimited service on four lines and get four free 5G phones. Except for one problem: that's not what you get despite the clear language of the ad.

MrConsumer was a teenager in the 1960s and that's when he learned about supermarket prices (and kind of still thinks that that is what some of them should cost today). Here are 25 common groceries and the typical prices that were charged for them sixty years ago. For example, back then butter was 74 cents a pound, and eggs were 57 cents a dozen! Ah, the good old days.
Save a Lot is not exactly a high-end supermarket chain. But, in Brooklyn, where it has no store, robots in a warehouse are filling orders placed online! Here is the print version of this story.
