The U.S. Postal Service is beta testing a new free service that will let residential customers get an advance look at the letter mail that they will be receiving later in the day. The post office takes a picture of your mail, and by 9 am or so, will email you copies. The service is called "Informed Delivery" and is only available in 75 zip codes for now, but expands nationwide in a few weeks. Who said the postal service wasn't innovative?
